My textile shop “Fabric Society” screams colourful Indian block prints, there is a lot to catch your eye! I wanted to create a feeling of walking into an authentic textile shop in Delhi or Jaipur, with a display of bright colours, exquisite designs, and fine cottons. At Shop 216 at the Eumundi Square, part of the famous Eumundi markets, Diana has become known as “the quilt lady” stocking stunning cotton textiles and homewares from India. Cotton kantha bedspreads and cotton quilts are in huge demand as the warmer summer temperature means light weight cotton quilts and bedspreads are all that is needed. The quality of the cotton and the exquisite designs are amazing, vibrant, fresh, and bursting with colour.
I stock a large range of designs in the bedspreads for all ages from young ladies decorating new houses, funky boho families to older couples looking for lightweight cottons to brighten up their bedrooms. Fabric Society also stocks stunning Anokhi quilts, tablecloths, clothing, and homewares. Anokhi is well-known by every textile lover as the best quality cotton and block print designs in the world. Stunning designs, fresh blues and whites, teal greens, and some gorgeous grey tones, modern and pretty floral designs all 100% cotton. We stock all sizes of bedspreads, tablecloths, clothing, wooden stamps, bags, and cushions.
Another rare find is the 275 and 340 cm extralong cotton tablecloths, ideal for dressing up the dining table for large family gatherings. Fabric Society is ideal for those who love delicate prints with a global aesthetic and ethic – every piece is Fair Trade, from the hand stitched kantha bedspreads and Suzani Tote bags to the beautiful hand block printed cotton tablecloths.
